22nd May 2021 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: 20-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot surf Air Temperature: 10ºC Sea Temperature: 11ºC Weather: Rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Windier on the water than on the beach so well powered to over-powered with a 5.7m and 85 ltr board. Hung onto it for 45 minutes or so though until Alastair joined me on the water. Then decided to change down to a 5m. This was fine as well, although y now the wind was really blustery - maybe the bigger sail was disguising this fact earlier. A good day ont he water though with some nice jumps here and there even if the blustery winds and strong current made it a bit of a struggle. |
