Last day of the L3 Course and the wind is all over the place. Advise everybody to go for throw about sails and big boards. After yesterdays introduction to freestyle everybody wanted to heli-tack but all had run into problems backwinding the sail.

Set up a board on the grass with my 5.4 (nice and light compared to the centre kit) for some dry land demos. Showed the rig 360 and sent everyone out to practice. It was good to see that everybody got the heli-tack after a fashion and most were doing rig 360's. Some had a go at body and sail 360's after dry land practice as well.

Overall it was a good course and the added element of longboard freestyle gave everybody something to progress with despite the lack of wind. Hopefully most of these people will be applying for the L4-5 course later in the year (more time off work).
