Surf / Sea State: smooth

Sea Temperature:
Weather: cloudy and mild

For the second day in a row we have let down by the weathermen as the forecast 15/25 winds failed to arrive:( Same as yesterday I hitched the trailer and took my boards for a ride, first to The Dip and then to The Manor but even though mild, the wind was very light so I went to the dock viewing point, parked up and went in search of coal spending a nice hour walking on the beach collecting 6k, enough for a couple of nights:)

On the way home I decided to check The Manor again parking at Languard car park, Al Wiz was out with a mate and seemed to be going OK so decided to rig my 8.5 on my big Xantos at approx. 12.30. I had to get someone just parking to do my wetsuit up and then headed out and was planning nicely when the board suddenly went sideways and some white poly bubbles appeared as my lovely 46cm fin disappeared with a large section of board:( Lucky for me I was only 300 metres from the beach so I managed to sail back with my nice lightwind shortboard a right off! I tried the longboard for a few runs but the wind had disappeared!!!

Might be some breeze tomorrow but I am not holding my breath!

Looking for another lightweight Xantos 310 - can anyone help???
