Mood: needing time out
27th November 2011
Windsurfing: levington
Wind Direction: WNW
Wind Stength: F5 - F6
Surf / Sea State: chop
Air Temperature: 14
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: sunny
Max Speed: 24.55 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 10 runs! (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Got up too late for the consistent wind. quite a few out at 12.00 after rigging 6.2 the others were on 5.5, so that size should av been OK, (norm 1/2M + on everyone)but I was way out of control in the chop in the middle and couldn't turn.
It was a disaster, as it was fast approaching high tide. flattened the sail on the far side but had 2 big wipeouts bruising my ribs, in the massive chop in the middle. 15 mins recovery and running out of tide!
More downhaul, (had to move the *ucking extn up)Swopped boards and the poxy wind dropped, and I was knee deep on the Synchro, as the wind was slightly offshore.
went back for the bigger board for a shit run, just made it back from the far side as the wind died. All the good wind was in the morning and I should have rigged 5.7! *uck it windsurfing is *hit.
To make matters worst chatting with Ian I should have gone to Bradfield where there is a mile long reach and cleaner wind with the NW direction perfect and tide would have lasted a lot longer...
Drown my sorrows, with 2 hrs at the spa and a couple of beers. Av a new job contract, kicking bookies arse, but just cant get the better of windsurfing, *ucking sport....
I forgot ...yep my steamer stinks from the rat piss water river water..... and Maker went faster than me..
Still *ucking Lord Swainey Corin and Darren got there too late and didn't even get a sail. The first 2 are domesticated husbands so understandable but Darren u need to stop smelling up the sheets mate....
