Ballaugh is very similar to Glen Wyllin. The beach is more sandy though and has less boulders scattered about it making it more suitable for windsurfing and kiting. I've yet to 'indulge' at this beach yet, so will hold my judgement until I have. Definately a beach worth checking though.
