Shoreham has a large pebble beach. for a few hours either side of low tide the water is relatively flat and waves can be huge when the tide is in. A really open spot with plenty of space. parking is available on some of the side roads and there are shops and food nearby.
Very popular with windsurfers.
There are no dog restrictions.
