Just a marvellous beach which can become quite crowded in the summer - wonderful facilties including surfshops, cafes, bars, a spar and pubs. Lifegurads on duty during council hours and just a lovely place to be. The surf is good and a surf school operates on the beach in the summer. Just enjoy this marvellous place. Campsites are also available and 2 golf courses are in spitting distance
This is a wonderful beach probably more for the beginner surfer - but surf is ver much the name of the game here - When hot the beach becomes very hot. This beach is served by excellent facilties surrounding the beach in all directions - In summer there is a vibrant nightlife based at the nearby Oystercatcher and Doom Bar - Beach parties go on long in to the night - lots of shops, including the world famous Annes' Cottage surfshop and TJs surf shack - Spar, Newsagents and other shops including fast food - Excellent parking available (including on the beach) and there is a great surfschool that operates on the beach - Some really good waves come in on this beach - There are life guards there 9 - 5 and a really fun atmosphere in the sea
