Not much of a beach really, and certainly not very good for most 'forces-of-nature' sports. You can windsurf at Llanelli an hour either side of high tide, but its better to head elewhere. Strong tidal currents and shifting sandbanks are hazards to be aware of.

Llanelli beach
Have been windsurfing this beach for 15 years (even though im still only
25!) It works well in all but easterly wind but there is only water 2.5
hours either side of high tide. Also good for Kite surfing in west to south
directions especially on low tides when there is a shallow channel between
the beach and a sandbank. There is a cafe on the beach and also some nice
walks. PS watch the current on high tide, it runs accross the beach about
100M ofshore.
