BST Bash Aftermath - May Day Holiday
I can't make the BST bash
Hmph.
However, I'm going up to Borth for the May Day holiday. I have a kiting lesson from Shem on the Friday, then a couple of days free to
play.
I'll probably be camping at the farm a few miles away - no facilities but stunning views.
If anyone else is going to be around that weekend let me know.
Cheers, Andrew

Looks as though a few people are going to be around for the May Day weekend, so if theres wind forecast we should try to make a thing
of it again... Most people I spoke to last weekend were keen to come back to Borth again soon, so May Day could be a good idea???
Of course, those who can will be back before then if there is any wind forecast!!
Who's gonna be up for it?? Unfortunately once again I won't be able to promise wind, but we can't get any less than we had this
time!!

Don't want to jinx the wind for this 'event', but if there are enough people around, we'll organise a BBQ on the beach again.....
Although, hopefully it'll be so windy that we'll have to do the BBQ in the shelter of the dunes!!!... At least we can't have any less
wind than last time.
Let us know here if you'll be coming.

If at first . . .
. . . you don't succeed (in finding any wind at the last Bash!), try & try again!
If there is another one on May Day weekend, then my Babe (Raven33) & I may well be over again, in her orange VeeDub Camper. Friday
evening onwards, I expect.
We have had some pretty good times on the water in the last month, but Borth looks so good to screech about at, it has to be done! And
the BBQ sounds good.
So, if tides & wind are there, we should be!
Meantime, keep using & exercising them waves, guys.
PS I told a couple of mates who drive Mercedes about it, & they seemed keen - see pic!!

Well, I know we can't believe a thing that long range forecasts say, but at the moment they are forecasting around 20 knots WNW for
next Saturday.... Time to start keeping an eye on it.
Tide times for the weekend at Borth are
Fri: HT 5.20 am and 6.10pm (3.7m small)
Sat: HT 6.15am and 6.50 pm (4.1m smallish)
Sun: HT 7.00am and 7.30 pm (4.5m)
WNW will see us sailing on the seafront though so those tides will be fine...We'll be able to get on the water early and not have to
carry our kit too far down the beach, sail for 12 hours and not have to carry the kit too far back mup the beach ready for the BBQ
either!
