24th May 2011 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 20-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot surf Air Temperature: 12ºC Sea Temperature: 13ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: 20 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 10.21 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) A lovely sunny day and just enough wind for my Naish Hybrid Freewave and 5m sail. A bigger fin may have helped with getting out through the whitewater as there was lots of it and with a dead onshore wind it was a little dificult to make headway but I did manage it. I then had a few nice runs down to Borth and back. Nothing too excited as a bit more wind would have helped but a decent enough sail in good conditions. Realised when I got home that I didn't even get wet. I jumped on in the shallows and stayed on non-stop throughout the whole session! |
