9th October 2010 Windsurfing: Ynsylas Wind Direction: ENE Wind Stength: 30 knots Surf / Sea State: Choppy and Flat Air Temperature: 16ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: 36.38 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 4.31 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) A little too dark to start with but once it got light I got some good speeds. 36.38 knots in the end, but there just wasn't enough room to get anymore and I think I need a smaller fin. There's a huge difference between yesterdays 32 knots and todays 36 though. Another 4 on top of that to hit 40 knots is going to be difficult, especially in the estuary. Full Report here |
