15th July 2010 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 30 knots Surf / Sea State: 3 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 17ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: 21.5 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 9.79 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Perfectly powered to maxed out on my 5m and JP Wave board. Not the longest of sessions because I had a big crash early on where boom and ribs met violently and the pain gradually got worse throughout the session. Would have stayed out longer but the tide was up to the pebbles as well, which gave me another excuse to cut it short. Still a good session with some big jumps and some lovely gybes on the faces of the big(ish) waves out the back. A perfect summer storm! |
